At the animal shelter "Spas" in Varazdin, Croatia, there are currently more than 500 dogs and the number is growing every day, because it is very dangerous for the four-legged friends on the streets of Croatia. For Asylum Manager Goga and her team, this means daily rescue missions and thus numerous new arrivals. The asylum's reception capacity has actually been exceeded for a long time. Especially due to the space problem, there are unfortunately always deadly bites between the animals and the plaguing hunger makes the situation even worse. Due to these enormously high expenses that the asylum has to meet, the finances are in the basement. Even for the basic care of the animals in need of help, the necessary money is lacking. In spite of everything, there is no thought of stopping the intake, because the poor creatures are met with cruelty on the streets of Croatia. People like Goga and her team are their only salvation. 🥺
