This summer was a race against time for the emergency shelter in Xanthi, Greece, and the team of "griechische Felllnasen e.V.". The persistent drought and an animal shelter bursting at the seams presented the animal welfare workers with a major problem. Many street dogs were in danger of dying on the streets, as the shelter's supplies were almost completely exhausted. Only a makeshift supply of the poor souls was possible. 😦

Even guardian angels need help sometimes, and so the animal protectors of the "griechische Fellnasen e.V." turned to you and asked for donations of food for their charges. Fortunately, you were immediately ready to help. Thanks to your efforts, we were able to send a large shipment of food to Greece.
