The association "TiNo e.V." works together with 70-year-old animal rescuer Teresa to improve the welfare of dogs in Portugal, where survival in public shelters is slim. The conditions in these shelters are appalling: dogs live in cramped spaces, often chained, without adequate food or care. Many die from malnutrition or are secretly euthanized. Teresa cares for around 450 dogs at her shelter near Setúbal, including many elderly, sick, and disabled animals who wouldn’t survive in typical shelters. However, the costs for food and medical care are enormous, and the shelter receives no financial support from the local government. 😢

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to send another food delivery to Teresa. This aid has significantly improved the lives of many rescued dogs. Every filled bowl brings hope and a better quality of life.
