The "Berliner Tiertafel e.V." is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring that no pet in Berlin goes hungry when their owners fall into hardship. The association provides food donations and essential supplies such as leashes, collars, and bowls. In special cases, they also offer veterinary assistance for a small fee. Their focus is on supporting individuals who, due to financial difficulties such as low income, disability, or sudden job loss, can no longer adequately care for their pets. Beyond material support, the Tiertafel fosters social interaction and provides a space for personal conversations and assistance with everyday challenges. The organization is particularly devoted to sick animals, for whom sponsorships allow medical care and treatment, helping to keep people and pets together during tough times.
