Since 2011, the association "Griechische Fellnasen e.V." has been passionately dedicated to helping dogs and cats in need, both locally and abroad. The primary focus of their work is on neutering stray animals to reduce the suffering caused by uncontrolled breeding. The association organizes aid transports and ensures the medical care of the animals to sustainably improve their quality of life. With patience and determination, they also advocate for better conditions with local authorities, as many of these animals may never find their own homes. On an 8,000 square meter property in Xanthi, Greece, the association has already built 25 shelters with pergolas to protect the dogs from extreme weather.
