Medulin Croatia, location of the small, private animal shelter "Udruga Fido". Here Didi & Trijana sacrificially care for needy strays. Unfortunately, there is a lot of animal suffering in the city, but governmental help is not in sight. Not much help can be expected from the population, which is why the two animal welfare activists have to bear their enormous costs themselves. Often the poor furry noses have experienced cruel things and have to recover psychologically. During this time they are not placeable and need daily food. In addition, new dogs are taken in, which also need food and not infrequently medical help. A difficult situation for the animal welfare workers, because the money is not enough by far. Despite their own plight, Didi & Trijana do not think of abandoning the fur noses. The well-being of their charges is far too close to their hearts. 🥹
